Join us on the runners and learn to mush your own team!
9:00 am- Meet your Guide and your Dog Sled Team.
Learn the parts of, and how to run a traditional wooden dog sled toboggan. Learn your dog’s names, their positions on your team and the job of each position. Harness your team and line them out in front of the sled. Clip them into position and jump on the back of the sled for entirely hands-on learning!
9:30 am- The rest of your training will be done on the sled!
From the back of the sled, head into the woods and spend the rest of the morning navigating the trails!
Learn your mushing commands, how to navigate your team, how to read their body language, and the proper techniques in how to operate the sled.
11:00 am- Return and unclip your team, water, and unharness them before joining your Guide (and a sled dog or two) for Lunch.
Then warm up with your choice of our homemade, artisanal soups & sandwiches!

12:00 pm- Prep your team for their run and utilize the knowledge learned in your first lesson.
With your Guide at your side you’ll perfect your technique, practice your commands, and hone your mushing skills!
2:00 pm- Return and unclip your team, water and unharness them.
Get in as many pets and hugs as you like from the dogs, and walk away with the knowledge and experience needed to call yourself a Musher!
