Great dogs. Great guide. Beautiful scenery and a great way to see this scenery. Loved every minute of it and cannot wait to come back next year...hopefully with a group.

A fun time! I had some experience with dog sledding but had never quite gotten a real trip and was very pleased with my experience with UDSE. Our guide Austin clearly loved what he does and the dogs. He was happy to share his passion and didn't shy away from any questions. The dogs were obviously in their element and had plenty of kisses to share after the run. If you have thought about going I recommend this company. Only caveat would be to carefully read the instructions regarding where the event will occur and please show up on time - the pups are not exactly patient - lol

What an adventure it was to go dog sledding with Alex and his team! We had a beautiful, clear, but cold day, and fantastic conditions. We went on a 3 hour tour, and were able to share the driving with Alex by our side. Alex is very competent, professional, and very personable. He loves what he does, and it shows. If you are thinking about a ride I highly recommend this company. Go have the ride of your life!

We had a great day with Paul and the dogs. We did a 2 hr tour with a Groupon, which was a GREAT deal. The sled was comfortable and warm for two on a 14 degree day. Paul was friendly, knowledgeable and interactive. The dogs were amazing. We recommend dress as if you were going skiing and bring your camera. Make sure you tip your guide! Thanks guys for an easy and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Not sure who had a better time, us or the dogs. So fun and the dogs are so loved and cared for. Great instructors would give ten stars!

What a great experience. We did the 2 hour ride which I think is the perfect amount of time. Alex was an excellent guide and his team of dogs were did a great job. What powerful animals they are.

I can't say how much I loved this experience. Alex and his crew were all super friendly, informative, clearly head over heels in love with their dogs, and great fun to be with. I can't wait to go again and would not hesitate to recommend Ultimate Dog Sledding Experience to anyone. If you've ever thought about trying it, go for it!

Such a fun experience! The dogs had so much fun which made it that much better for us. The owner and his employees clearly enjoy what they do and were really great to interact with. We got to ride in the sled but also had the opportunity to ride on the back too. Perfect for families. Best part was the puppy snuggles before and after. I would whole heartedly recommend this company and hope to do this again!

I surprised my boyfriend with this tour on his birthday and he absolutely loved it!! We decided to take a weekend getaway trip up to Maine and I was looking for a fun, unique activity for us to do. I found Ultimate Dog Sledding Experience online, fortunately it was relatively close to Portland where we were staying. I reached out to Alex, the owner, who was very courteous and accommodating with our schedule. Upon arriving at the meeting point, we were met by Alex, his team of mushers, and 40 of the most energized dogs! After receiving some general tips and instructions we began our trek. The trip took us through some of the most stunning winter scenery of the Maine wilderness. Snow covered trees, mountainsides in the background and ice-covered lakes. Our guide, Austin, was the best. He was super kind and informative about the dogs, dog sledding and Maine. We took turns riding on the sled, and on the back in the mushers position. We were able to take plenty of pictures of us with the dogs and the wilderness. Highly recommend the 2 hour trip. For those of you who have any reservations about the treatment of the dogs, I'm going to squash that right now. These dogs LOVE nothing more then to pull and run. They were so excited to have the freedom to run together in the beautiful outdoors. They were also so friendly to us and wanted to play around. Following the tour, Alex and his team showed us his stable of dogs. We learned so much about dog sledding and the dogs themselves. Would definitely do again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience.
